Distribution of PlexTalk Machines

With technological advancements transforming the way visually impaired individuals access information, traditional CD players have been replaced by modern PlexTalk machines. These innovative devices, introduced and supplied by the National Institute for the Empowerment of Persons with Visual Disabilities, Dehradun, provide an effective learning solution for visually impaired students.

Equipped with an in-built music system, FM radio, and SD memory card support, PlexTalk machines enable students to listen to their academic syllabus, making education more accessible and efficient. By offering a portable and user-friendly alternative to conventional audio learning methods, these devices empower students with greater independence in their studies.

Enhancing Learning Through Technology

So far, 295 PlexTalk machines have been distributed to visually impaired students under this initiative, significantly enhancing their learning experience. This effort continues to bridge the gap in educational accessibility, ensuring that every student has the tools they need to succeed.
